Australian Firm Explores Health Investment Opportunities in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, 20 July 2024 – Aspen Medical, an Australia-based healthcare firm headquartered in Canberra, is exploring bilateral cooperation and potential health investment opportunities in Cambodia.

This intent was highlighted by the firm's executive chairman, Glenn Keys AO, during a recent meeting with Koy Vanny, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health in Phnom Penh.

Mr. Keys informed Secretary Vanny that Aspen Medical recognizes Cambodia's healthcare development needs and is keen to invest in the sector. The proposed investment will primarily focus on developing human resources, modernizing medical equipment, and providing specialized training in cancer and cardiac surgery.

The meeting was also attended by Ms. Carolyn Bagster, First Secretary and Head of Trade and Investment Office of the Australian Embassy in Cambodia.
